Giants’ Malik Nabers takes big step toward being ready for Week 1

Malik Nabers took another step toward his return on Monday. 

For the first time this summer, the Giants’ standout receiver took part in full-speed team drills. 

Nabers, coming off a torn ACL, was on a significant pitch count — he didn’t take part in consecutive plays.

But he was out there going full speed, cutting and taking on defensive backs. 

In all, he registered seven reps, and caught three passes.

That’s including a leaping grab in 7-on-7 drills.

A healthy Nabers is importantly for Big Blue. They lack quality depth at receiver.
