It appears that Jaxson Dart’s knee injury is far worse than initially thought, and oddsmakers wasted no time axing the G-Men’s betting outlook.

Their odds to make the playoffs opened at +310 on BetMGM and moved to +260 before Week 1.

Following a dominant home victory over Dallas, those postseason odds narrowed to +165.

However, with reports that Dart may require season-ending surgery, FanDuel drastically tanked Big Blue’s playoff odds to +560 Tuesday afternoon.

The Giants’ projected win total hovered between 7.5 and 8.5 in early markets and stood firmly at 8.5 prior to Monday’s 28-6 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

Now sportsbooks have set their win line at 5.5 (-170), though bettors targeting sweet value can back over 6.5 wins at +105.

Their odds to secure a Super Bowl title have now cratered to +8000, signaling a dramatic shift from what once looked like an incredibly promising campaign.

“Evaluations are ongoing. We haven’t got any final decisions yet…we’ve learned a lot more. I wouldn’t want to share too much until decisions get made, ” head coach John Harbaugh shared with reporters during a Tuesday press conference.

With Dart out of the picture, NFL journeyman Jameis Winston will be the Giants quarterback moving forward.

The 12-year veteran took over Monday night, but he couldn’t thread the needle offensively, finishing just 11-of-27 for 111 passing yards and an interception.

Harbaugh remains confident in Winston, “Absolute faith in all our players. That’s why all the guys are here. Jameis is one of our guys who obviously is here for a reason. He’s a very good football player.”

The Giants will host former coach Brian Daboll and the Tennessee Titans in Week 3 at MetLife and are favored by three points in that contest.
