The Giants have a new long snapper.
The team agreed to a deal with Zach Triner, a source confirmed. Triner was the Buccaneers’ long snapper from 2019-24 and has spent time with several teams since losing the job in Tampa Bay. He had stints with the Dolphins, Broncos, Seahawks, Falcons and Commanders in the last two years.
He replaces Casey Kreiter, who spent six seasons as the Giants’ long snapper before signing with the Cardinals as a free agent this month.

The Giants also reached a deal with linebacker Cam Jones to provide special teams help and depth.
Jones, 26, spent 2023 and 2024 with the Chiefs, playing in all 17 games in both seasons and winning a Super Bowl ring in 2023. Jones played 10 games for the Jets last season.
Jones has mainly played special teams in his career. He has two career starts at linebacker.

He played 62 percent of the special teams snaps with the Jets last year and four snaps on defense.
