The best of the best are all that’s left.
As expected, after four, grueling rounds of hoops, the four, sure-thing No. 1 seeds have prevailed and advanced to the 2026 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament Final Four at Phoenix’s Mortgage Matchup Center.
Now comes the test to see who has what it takes to come out on top in the Valley of the Sun.
Final Four games get underway on Friday, April 3 at the Suns’ home.
Up first is Azzi Fudd and Sarah Strong’s UConn vs. Joyce Edwards’ South Carolina in a rematch of the 2025 National Championship. As fans may recall, the Huskies routed the Gamecocks last April and won handily by a score of 82-59. While UConn is listed as a 6.5-point favorite by oddsmakers for this year, keep an eye out for SC. They’re hungry.
After that high-stakes showdown, Madison Booker’s Texas takes on Taina Mair’s UCLA at 9:30 p.m. Both clubs are making repeat appearances in the Final Four; last year, they were bested by…you guessed it….UConn and South Carolina.
Once the dust has settled on those contests, the two victors will meet in the National Championship on Sunday, April 5 at the Mortgage Matchup Center.
If you’d like to be there to witness all the action live from the stands, last-minute tickets are available.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats for an all-sessions pass — that grants you access to both Final Four games and the National Championship — was $507 including fees on StubHub.
For those hoping to just attend the two Final Four games on Friday, seats start at $278 including fees.

NCAA Women’s College Basketball data
According to StubHub, women’s college basketball fandom is growing rapidly. They broke it down for us.
Expanding Fanbase: UConn women’s games are seeing significantly higher first-time buyer rates than the UConn men’s team, with some sessions nearing 30% new buyers, showing that new fans are not just watching, they are showing up live.
Sustained Momentum: Women’s team demand has grown 15x since 2023, while maintaining consistently high first-time buyer rates, proof that interest is compounding, not peaking.
Distinct Audiences: Men’s and women’s tournaments are building distinct audiences. Buyer overlap between the two is virtually zero, signaling that women’s sports is not borrowing fans, it’s creating its own audience.
Taken together, StubHub’s data shows how a top women’s program like UConn can convert attention into real-world attendance, while also building a distinct and growing audience.
To support growing fan interest in women’s sports year-round, StubHub recently launched HerSportsHub — the first dedicated women’s sports ticket destination in the resale industry, giving fans a single destination to find women’s sports experiences.
