What our Post expert thinks about Spurs vs. Rockets
The last time these two teams played, the Spurs squandered a 16-point lead to their division rivals. The Spurs shot a paltry 39 percent from the floor while the Rockets hit 52 percent of their shots.
Broadly these are two elite and well-balanced teams that are battling in a crowded Western Conference. The Rockets have the better metrics despite having a slightly worse record. They rank fifth in offense and third in defense this season. The Spurs, who are now tied for second in the West, are ninth in offense and fourth in defense.
