Messi is returning to Miami.

On Friday, July 3, the inter Miami CF star will represent his defending world champion club Argentina in a World Cup round of 32 match against Vozinha’s Cape Verde at Hard Rock Stadium.

If you’d like to be there, last-minute tickets are available for the make-or-break showdown on the Dolphin’s home field.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats was $2,181 including fees on SeatGeek.

100-level seats start at $2,524 including fees.

While prohibitively expensive, seeing Messi play in what might be his final World Cup — he would be 43 at the time of the 2030 tourney — is something soccer fútbol fans simply cannot attach a dollar amount to.

In just the first three matches of his sixth (!) World Cup, Messi has become the all-time leading World Cup goal scorer while also becoming the first player to score in seven straight matches.

As expected, Argentina made quick work of their Group J foes Algeria, Austria and Jordan, allowing only one goal.

Cape Verde had a bit of a different path to advance to the knockout round. Los Tubarões Azuis had two scoreless draws against Saudi Arabia and Spain; they also tied Uruguay 2-2.

While not quite on Argentina’s level, that’s not too shabby for a country with only approximately 530,000 people, which is less than every state in the U.S.

Come Friday, Vozinha, the controversial Ryan Mendes and Logan Costa will see if they can shock the world yet again and take down Messi, Julián Alvarez and Enzo Fernández in the Magic City.
