Get Sky TV channels for half price by making a simple change to your broadband

If you’re fed up with paying sky-high prices for Sky then there’s a new deal that can help cut the cost. TalkTalk has just announced a new deal that’s offering access to a swathe of premium channels for half the usual price. That means you’ll pay as little as £4.99 for full access to Sky Atlantic, Sky Documentaries and more. So how does the deal work?

Firstly, you’ll need to sign up for TalkTalk’s broadband which starts from around £28 per month. Once that’s all sorted you can then add TalkTalk TV (£5 per month) to your shopping basket which includes a set-top box and access to a swathe of Freeview channels.

Next, there’s the option to add a NOW Entertainment package from Sky which usually costs £9.99 but has been dropped to just £4.99 as part of the promotion.

The total price for this TV access to £9.99 which saves you £5 off the usual price – you’ll even get NOW Boost thrown in for free. For those not aware, Boost gives you access streams in HD along with the option to skip through adverts and watch on mobe devices at once. It usually costs £6 so this is another decent saving from TalkTalk.

“With a NOW Entertainment Membership, you’ll have access to the latest and greatest TV shows and films, including Game Of Thrones, starring Emilia Clarke, and Brassic, starring Michelle Keegan, all ad-free and in full HD – with NOW Boost included,” TalkTalk explained.

Of course, this isn’t the only way to get Sky cheaper. The satellite telly firm has their own deal which cuts the cost of viewing premium TV.

The deal is for Sky Stream and broadband which is currently at Sky’s lowest ever price. This diddy device, which is sent to you in the post to avoid irritating installation, beams live plus on-demand content to the big screen via the web. That means you don’t need a dish stuck to the outside of your home.

It also includes a backlit remote and all of the most popular streaming apps such as Disney+ and Apple TV+. You can even store and watch content at a later date via Sky Stream’s online Playlists function.
