A GB News star brutally criticised the Government for “recycling” phrases on tackling the migration crisis, warning this year’s total of small boat migrants crossing the English Channel will be at a record high. Discussing the latest crossings on GB News, Mark White warned Martin Daubney that the current total of 35,400 could surpass the 2024 record, considering there are two months left in the year. He slammed Labour and also fumed: “They have been banging this particular drum for a year and four months. When Sir Keir Starmer first came into office, he said that there needs to be a ‘much more international approach’ in the fight against the criminal gangs. What has the net result been? It’s been record levels continuing to come across the English Channel.”
One person replied on X to Mark’s opinion: “Labour has now had 16 months since they took office to make even a little headway in securing the UK’s border and achieved the princely sum of precisely nothing. Oh, yes, there have been lots of Prime Ministerial/ Home Office/ Home Secretary bluster and blagging. It sums up to 0.”
A second also commented: “Labour have no desire to stop the boats. It will upset Macron and stop Keir Starmer taking UK back in EU. Thus 1 out 1 in deal which does not decrease the numbers here but helps France to offload all here. Labour telling lies and hoodwinking people.” [sic]
Five days ago, Mark told GB News: “I’ve just been speaking to our producer in Kent, who monitors all of the migrant activity for us, and he said that so far, 250 have arrived at Dover Harbour, and at least another 200 are out in the Channel making their way across.
“And there may be more today because it’s actually very good weather, flat calm conditions, pretty much in the Channel today and tomorrow.”
In similar news, Martin Daubney fiercely spoke out after a Labour MP’s claim that British flags make people feel “uneasy.” Jeevun Sandher’s remarks prompted Martin to launch a furious rant, in which he declared that “this is the United Kingdom” and that those in the Labour Party criticising the flag are “ashamed and embarrassed” of British flags.
Mr Sandher claimed in a video on social media: “I see flags painted on roundabouts, and that is just a bit weird. And, you know, you’ve seen it online, and I see it in my inbox, that this does make people feel uneasy. […]
“Now, look, I’ll take people at their words, people who say, this is about national pride. I’m proud of my country, too, and I’m proud of our flag. But I do understand why others feel that it’s about excluding people, why others feel that it’s about saying who belongs here and who doesn’t.”
Martin didn’t hold back his thoughts, ranting: “Once again, it’s the case of a Labour politician embarrassing this country on the world stage.”
