The Prime Minister has been dealt a significant blow on GB News. Former Special Adviser Oscar Reddrop discussed Plaid Cymru’s win in the Caerphilly by-election on GB News, meaning there was a historic Labour defeat. The Welsh political party won the Caerphilly by-election with 47% of the vote, in a substantial turnout, with Reform UK in second place on 36%, while Labour came in third. It’s Labour’s first defeat in the area for 100 years. Speaking about his win, Lindsay Whittle said the by-election was “better than scoring the winning try for Wales against New Zealand in the Rugby World Cup.”
On GB News, guests spoke about what this meant for the Labour Party. Oscar Reddrop argued: “The unpopularity of Keir Starmer is the main thing here… This is an absolute sign of things to come!”
