Eamonn Holmes has suggested he would be pleased to see Prince Harry return to the UK after he stepped down from his royal duties in 2020.
Fellow co-host Ellie Costello and commentators Dawn Neesom and Christopher Biggins joined the GB News presenter.
They discussed US President Donald Trump’s recent comments about Meghan Markle, who he described as “terrible” but ruled out deporting Harry from America.
As they discussed the Invictus Games, Eamonn commented, ‘I like the lad. I think the country would recondition themselves toward him.
“I think he would be welcomed back eventually but her, no, no, no.”
Eamonn went on to claim the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s loved-up display at the Invictus Games was contrived, branding a sweet moment between the couple as “fake” as Meghan rested her head on the shoulder of a tearful Harry.
It comes after the royal opened he latest edition of the Invictus Games in Canada.
Prince Harry was speaking at the opening ceremony in Vancouver with his wife Meghan, on Saturday.
The couple initially watched from the stands, cheering and clapping for the UK’s team as their competitors walked on the stage.
