Governor Gavin Newsom’s actress ex Sofia Milos is taking the high road after he claimed he bowed to pressure from an ultra-rich friend to end their relationship.
Newsom’s “Young Man in a Hurry” memoir is set for release later this month, giving an inside look to his childhood all the way to his rise to become the Governor of California.

Snippets of the memoir have made recently made rounds, including a section where Newsom reportedly dives into his previous relationships — including one with “Sopranos” and “CSI: Miami” actress Sofia Milos.
The two dated back in 2006, but Newsom says he called things off with the actress after urging from oil magnate Gordon Getty who said she wasn’t right for him.
“I have fond memories of that time in my life, which was a long time ago. We chose to part ways and have since moved on with our lives. I wish him and his family well,” Milos exclusively told The California Post.

Newsom also dives into his failed marriage with Kimberly Guilfoyle and his two-year affair with Rippey-Tourk, who was married to his deputy chief of staff in the memoir.
One relationship Newsom steers clear mentioning in the memoir is when he dated 19-year-old model and college lacrosse star Brittanie Mountz in 2006.
Newsom was 39 when he brought Mountz to the 5th season opening gala for the San Francisco Symphony. When asked why by The New York Times why he omitted Mountz from the memoir, he said they “only went on a few dates.”
