It’s only money — as Ol’ Blue Eyes once crooned.
Frank Sinatra’s legendary and “meticulously preserved” Los Angeles bachelor pad is hitting the market for the first time in over half a century for a cool $7.5 million.
Located at 2200 Maravilla Drive, the famed mansion exudes Old Hollywood charm, lavish amenities, and sweeping views from downtown Los Angeles to the Pacific Ocean.
“When you remember that Frank Sinatra actually lived here, you can almost picture the parties and the energy that once filled these rooms,” gushed real estate agent John Zaffarano.
Spanning 7,400 square feet, the property features six bedrooms, seven baths, a sparkling pool, and rare original touches, including Art Deco magnesite floors, an intimate telephone room, and the original intercom system.
The home — known as Villa Dorada — was listed for the first time in 53 years and is described by Zaffarano as a “meticulously preserved 1929 Spanish Revival estate.”
Villa Dorada is part of Hollywood history, having welcomed legends like Bela Lugosi, the original Dracula, and Oscar-winning songwriter Jimmy Van Heusen.
Sinatra shared the halls with Van Heusen during the height of his Hollywood years, transforming the residence into one of the era’s most iconic bachelor pads.
To showcase the home’s splendor, Vesta Home, a luxury staging studio, was enlisted to accentuate its historic architecture and demonstrate how well it can suit modern living.
“From the moment you walk through the front door, you feel the historic beauty in every detail,” senior designer Ryan Worthington said.
“The tiled floors, the chandeliers, the grand windows—every room has a spark of interest. It was important that our design complemented rather than competed with the architecture. I leaned into the home’s rich colors and layered in antiques and textures that speak to its past.”
Villa Dorada isn’t the only Sinatra-associated house to hit the market recently. Earlier this year, a mid-century modern estate in Chatsworth that The Sultan of Swoon once rented sold for $8 million.
In May, a house in Rancho Mirage, California, previously owned by Sinatra’s fourth wife, Barbara Sinatra, sold for $2.25 million, according to Mansion Global.
