A female stranger randomly shoved a 71-year-old woman to the ground in a morning Brooklyn attack last week – leaving her bruised up with a jaw injury, cops and sources said Tuesday.
The senior was walking on Brighton Beach Avenue near Brighton 1st Place around 10:25 a.m. Friday when the menace pushed her, causing her to fall, authorities said.
The two did not know each other and didn’t appear to exchange words before the senseless attack, according to law enforcement sources.
The woman was hospitalized in stable condition with cuts, bruising and swelling to the face and left knee, and a jaw injury, police said.
By then, the attacker had already fled on foot westbound on Brighton Beach Avenue toward Ocean Parkway, cops said.
Police released footage of the still-at-large menace strolling on the sidewalk wearing sunglasses and a baseball cap and looking at her phone.
