The FBI is relocating its Nancy Guthrie command post from Tucson to Phoenix, where it has its largest office in Arizona, more than three and a half weeks after the 84-year-old’s abduction.

While some agents will remain in Tucson, where the mother of “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie, 54, went missing early Feb. 1, many operatives are returning to Phoenix to work on the case from there, sources with knowledge of the investigation told ABC News.

This shift does not indicate that authorities are giving up in their search for Nancy, nor that they are scaling back their investigation, the source insisted.
