Federal agents are searching for a hulking murder suspect on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list and they’re now offering $1 million for information that could lead to his arrest.
Omar Alexander Cardenas, a California native who also goes by the nickname “Dollar,” is accused of killing a man outside a Los Angeles barber shop in 2019 before disappearing and remaining on the run for years.

Authorities say the shooting happened outside Hair Icon Barber Shop in Sylmar, where the suspect allegedly fired about six shots from a semi-automatic handgun. The victim, 46-year-old Jabari Dumas, was struck in the head and died from his injuries.
Investigators have said the victim may not have known Cardenas.
A Los Angeles County arrest warrant charging Cardenas with murder was issued in April 2020. A federal warrant followed in September 2021 accusing him of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

Cardenas is described as about 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing between roughly 240 and 300 pounds. Officials say he often has a beard, wears prescription glasses and has at least one tattoo.
The FBI later placed Cardenas on its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list and is offering a reward of up to $1 million for information leading to his arrest.
Investigators believe he may be receiving help while on the run.
