The Queens man bludgeoned to death during a senseless road-rage attack on the Belt Parkway was a married father of two who was on his way home from his job at JFK Airport, his family said.
Crisanie Dockery, 47, was driving home with a coworker around 1:10 a.m. Sunday when he got into a beef with another driver — and was pummeled with a bat and left dying on the side of the road in what his sister called a devastating tragedy for his family.
His killer remains on the loose.
“How can you take him away from his children, his family?” the dead man’s siter, Marsha Dockery, told The Post. “It’s so unnecessary. It could have been death with so differently.
“He was such an outgoing person, a friendly person, someone who you could approach with just about anything,” she said. “We are hoping that someone who sees something comes forward.”
Crisanie Dockery, a native of Jamaica, was found unconscious on the parkway near Exit 21B at Farmer’s Boulevard, with his 39-year-old companion with minor injuries, police said.
He was later pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital — with cops now hunting for his cowardly killer.
Speaking outside the family’s home in St. Albans, his sister said Dockery worked as a ramp agent at the Queens airport, and has two sons — 21 and 13 years old — and was in the process of making arrangements for his wife to join them in the Big Apple.
Marsha Dockery said the fatal roadside assault has left the family devastated.
“Apparently there was a minor accident and the occupants came out and there was some sort of altercation and he was bludgeoned,” she said.
“He was such an outgoing person, a friendly person, someone who you could approach with just about anything.”
She said the younger son had not been told Sunday night, but his knew and was “just distraught.”
Police are investigating the deadly encounter but have not released details or a description of the killer.
