Lewis Hamilton has admitted that he no longer knows how to qualify well in a worrying statement ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix.
He has struggled to match the pace of Charles Leclerc against the clock and was second-best to George Russell last season.
Asked how he goes about putting everything together in a lap to fight for pole position, Hamilton replied: “I don’t know. I haven’t done it in a long time.
“It’s just the truth. I haven’t done it for so long so I’m trying to figure that out myself.”
