Disney+ is making sure the colder months are packed with must-watch TV, new films and even live sport.
The platform has lined up everything from courtroom dramas filled with A-list names to gritty documentaries and glossy Pixar animation.
Some are global releases already stirring conversation – others are brand new originals aiming to grab attention. Together they make up one of the streaming service’s busiest autumns to date.
Here is everything that is arriving on Disney Plus this autumn.
Tempest
September 10
The most talked-about international release on Disney+ this autumn is Tempest, a Korean spy thriller already making waves around the world. Starring Jun Ji-hyun and Gang Dong-won, the series dives into espionage, betrayal and high-stakes politics with the kind of sleek visuals and gripping cliffhangers that have made K-dramas a global phenomenon.
With lavish production and a storyline laced with conspiracy, Tempest has been tipped as one of Disney+’s most ambitious non-English language projects yet.
Swiped
September 19
Biopics are always a draw, and Swiped takes on the story of Whitney Wolfe Herd, co-founder of Bumble. Played by Lily James, the film charts Wolfe Herd’s rise from tech start-up beginnings to becoming one of the youngest self-made female billionaires.
It’s pitched as a mix of inspiration and drama, highlighting both the obstacles and innovations that defined her career. With James in the lead role, Swiped could be one of the autumn’s more high-profile Disney+ film premieres.

Sneaker Wars: Adidas V. Puma
September 24
The docuseries explores the rivalry between Adidas and Puma, two of the biggest names in sportswear – both founded by brothers whose falling out led to one of the fiercest brand battles of the 20th century.
Mixing archive footage, expert interviews and behind-the-scenes business insights, Sneaker Wars shows how a family feud spilled out into a global market war, shaping fashion, football, and pop culture in the process. For sports fans and anyone curious about how branding became warfare, it promises to be essential viewing.
Chad Powers
September 30
Sports comedies don’t come around too often, but Chad Powers brings both laughs and heart. Glen Powell stars as an ageing quarterback who reinvents himself under a fake identity, taking another shot at glory while hiding his true self.
With Powell’s growing star power after roles in Top Gun: Maverick and Anyone But You, this series has momentum behind it. The concept mixes sports underdog drama with sharp comedy, making it a wildcard contender for one of the autumn’s most entertaining releases.
Murdaugh: Death in the Family
October 15
Few true-crime sagas have captured attention quite like the Murdaugh case, a story of privilege, power and shocking violence in South Carolina. Disney+ is dramatising the scandal in Murdaugh: Death in the Family, bringing the real-life courtroom drama and family implosion to the screen.
It’s expected to dig into the moral complexities and ripple effects of a family dynasty undone by its own secrets. True crime continues to be one of streaming’s most popular genres, and this dramatization is likely to spark big conversations.

A Very Jonas Christmas Movie
November 14
Disney+ is adding some festive fun to the autumn line-up with A Very Jonas Christmas Movie. Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas are at the centre of this comedy adventure, racing against the clock to make it from London to New York in time to spend Christmas with their families.
Expect plenty of chaotic holiday mishaps, heartwarming moments and signature Jonas humour, making it a must-watch for fans of the band and anyone looking for a light-hearted seasonal treat. The movie also highlights Disney+’s continued investment in family-friendly originals that combine star power with storytelling that appeals to all ages.
All’s Fair
November
Ryan Murphy has a knack for grabbing attention, and his latest project, All’s Fair, is no exception. This glossy legal drama centres on a group of divorce attorneys who thrive on scandal and spectacle. But it’s the cast list that really turns heads: Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Sarah Paulson, and Glenn Close are all onboard.
The series blends courtroom battles with personal intrigue, with Murphy’s trademark glamour and grit and star power at its core.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians – Season 2
December 10
Rick Riordan’s bestselling novels already had a loyal fanbase before Disney+ brought Percy Jackson and the Olympians to life in 2023. The show’s first season broke records on the platform, with millions tuning in to see the modern twist on Greek mythology.
Now season 2 adapts The Sea of Monsters, arguably one of the most beloved books in the series. Walker Scobell returns as Percy alongside Leah Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri. Audiences can expect fresh quests, mythical creatures, and a deeper dive into Percy’s world as he faces new dangers across the seas.

Elio
Release date TBA
Pixar rarely misses, and Elio looks set to continue the studio’s streak of heartfelt, inventive storytelling. The animated feature follows 11-year-old Elio, who is accidentally beamed into space and mistaken by aliens as Earth’s ambassador.
With cosmic comedy and emotional beats woven together, the film captures the usual Pixar balance of humour and heart. The studio’s reputation alone makes this one of the most anticipated Disney+ family films of the season.
Caroline Flack: Search for the Truth
Release date TBA
A documentary with heavy emotional weight, Caroline Flack: Search for the Truth follows her mother Christine as she retraces her daughter’s final months. Caroline, a much-loved TV presenter, died in 2020, sparking national conversations about mental health and media pressure.
The documentary promises a deeply personal exploration, with new insights and first-hand accounts. Given Caroline Flack’s impact on UK entertainment and the tragedy of her death, this is expected to be one of the most widely discussed Disney+ factual releases.
Live Football – LALIGA & UEFA Women’s Champions League
Finally, Disney+ is making a play for sports fans with live football. Subscribers now get access to top-tier Spanish matches from LALIGA and every fixture of the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
The move marks a big step for Disney+ as a streaming destination not just for scripted shows and films but also live sporting events. With women’s football gaining more attention and Spanish clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid drawing global followings, this addition will be a huge draw for sports subscribers.
