Princess Kate stepped out on a solo visit today to the Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea, where she received treatment for her own cancer diagnosis last year.
The Princess of Wales, 43, arrived on Tuesday to speak to staff and patients at the hospital, which her and Prince William have now become royal patrons of.
The future Queen spent time at the hospital thanking staff who supported her during treatment and meeting patients to talk about their own cancer journeys.
Since her visit this morning, which saw Kate wear a brown tartan coat, royal fans have taken to social media to praise the mum-of-three.
A number of fans said they were happy to see the mother-of-three back carrying out duties.
One person wrote: “So happy to see The Princess of Wales looking healthy and lovely as always.”
Another said: “Thank goodness the Princess of Wales is on the mend.”
A third wrote: “Catherine is loved because she is a genuine caring person. So happy to see her looking well again.”
The Princess of Wales was also compared to Prince William’s mum the late Princess Diana, who made plenty of visits to see people in hospital during her lifetime, which led to her having the nickname of the “People’s Princess”.
One person wrote on X: “She has that Diana aura about her.”
Another said: “I’m so reminded of Princess Diana who also had that magic touch of putting everyone at ease…God Bless and keep safe Catherine, Princess of Wales.”
A third wrote: “The people’s princess.”
Kensington Palace confirmed that the hospital is where Princess Kate received her own cancer treatment last year. Prince William did not accompany his wife on the visit today.
