Fans of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been sent into a frenzy today as Netflix dropped the trailer for their upcoming series Polo.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, 40 and 43, have been named as the executive producers of the series, which aims to give fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the sport and some of the world’s most elite polo players.
In the trailer, which did not feature the prince or Meghan, snippets of drama could be seen as players prepare for the US Polo Championships.
Although the programme is not set to hit TV screens until December 10, fans have expressed their excitement since the launch of the trailer on Thursday afternoon.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, the video generated a huge amount of public interest, with many people saying they were not interested in the sport until now.
One fan wrote: “This is going to be good! So looking forward to learning about Polo.”
A second said: “I don’t know anything about polo, but this show looks really good! The production team did a good job with this clip getting my attention. I’ll be watching.”
A third commented: “I’ve never had interest in polo until now. I’ll try every effort to watch this.”
People were also quick to comment on the drama shown in the trailer, with some of the most elite polo players shown in arguments with their families over the sport and sacrifices they have to make.
One fan wrote on X: “This docuseries looks gripping, I can’t wait !!”
Another said: “Wow, very riveting!! This is a series I will not miss for anything! It has it all: documentary, drama, competition, glitz and everything else in between!!! I cannot wait for December 10th to come!!!”
A third said: “WOW! Who knew Polo can be this exciting! Can’t wait to binge watch.”
The programme will hit TV screens on December 10 on Netflix.
Neither Prince Harry or Meghan Markle appeared in the trailer.
