Meghan Markle has sparked outrage after royal fans have spotted a ‘crown’ in a US influencer’s surprising new post. After expressing her opinion that Meghan did not appear authentic in her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, influencer Amanda Hirsch received a personalised hand-written message from the Duchess of Sussex. Following the release of Meghan’s series, Amanda took to social media to share, “You guys I’m scared for Meghan.”
After being made aware of Amanda’s post, Meghan decided to send her a note, which read: Dear Amanda, I heard you were feeling scared. Don’t be. This is the fun part – let’s enjoy it”. She then signed off with the phrase “as ever, Meghan.”
Posting the hand-written note on her Instagram account, along with the caption, “OH MY DUCHESS”, royal were quick to spot a “crown” in the monogram at the top of the note. This is something that she has previously done since stepping down as a senior working royal in 2020.
Taking to the comment section, one fan commented: “Why does her monogram have a crown? This woman loves cashing in on the Royal Family while hating them and everything they stand for. GROSS.”
Another wrote: “A crown @meghan? Really? [cry-laughing emoji] You’re in Cali Meghan Markle! Stay cool Amanda. [red-heart emoji].”
A third fan also wrote: “Crowned M on the stationary? She lost that privilege when she stepped down… Disappointing to see, not shocking at all.”
As well as a host of fans and celebrities, Meghan’s father Thomas Markle also branded his estranged daughter as “inauthentic” after the release of her new series.
The pair have not spoken since before Meghan married Prince Harry in 2018.
Speaking to the Mail, he said: “Everything she says is pre-planned and rehearsed. It makes me laugh because I know all her looks and expressions. I know when she’s faking it for the cameras. She’s trying so hard to be perfect that she tenses up every time the camera is on her.”
