Everyone comparing Princess Charlotte to the same royal after Christmas church service

Everyone is saying the same thing about Princess Charlotte after she attended the Christmas carol service with her family. The eight-year-old young royal walked to the church in Sandringham with her two brothers, Prince George and Prince Louis and her parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales.

They walked behind the King and Queen, who were greeted by around a thousand local residents, many of whom had waited hours on Christmas morning to catch a glimpse of the family. But Princess Charlotte stole the show, getting attention for one thing in particular – her resemblance to the late Queen Elizabeth.

Social media users took to X (formerly Twitter) to note how much the young princess looks like her late grandmother, who died last September 8 at her home in Balmoral, Scotland.

One user (@vanfanx) said: “Princess Charlotte’s resemblance to Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth is remarkable. Especially noticeable in this photo is the similarities of both of their mouths.”

Another (lona_barrett) agreed saying: “Look at how Princess Charlotte is from her side profile. She looks so much like the Queen.”

This is not the first time Charlotte has been compared to her grandmother, with people saying something similar after the Together At Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey earlier this month.

The Princess’s debut at the Christmas Day service was in 2019 when she was just four years old. She joined older brother Prince George wore a sweet green coat and held hands with both her parents as they walked towards the chapel.

Each year the royals head to Sandringham for the Christmas period, kicking off the festivities with a lavish black tie dinner on Christmas Eve and a gift exchange – in a nod to the Firm’s German heritage.

On Christmas morning they make their way to St Mary Magdalene Church on the Norfolk Estate for a Christmas Day service. They stop and chat with members of the public who gather to share their best wishes to the Royal Family.

And at 3pm, the King delivered his second Christmas speech. It will be the first time a Christmas tree is the backdrop and it has been decorated with natural and sustainable decorations.
