Going on a cruise holiday is a unique and thrilling way to travel, allowing you to visit several countries in one stint.
There’s nothing quite like sailing across the ocean onboard a luxurious floating hotel with all your wants and needs catered for, before heading to bed and waking up each morning in a new destination.
It’s a holiday experience that offers something a little out of the ordinary, but that’s not to say that some of the usual travel rules you’d expect when heading abroad don’t still apply.
Much like going to the airport to catch a flight, there are strict luggage rules in place for cruises too that all passengers must follow.
In a similar vein to banned items on board aeroplanes, there are certain items that are prohibited onboard cruise ships – and Royal Caribbean is no exception.
Royal Caribbean is the world’s second largest cruise line operator, behind Carnival Corporation, and travels to destinations all over the world, including out of the port of Southampton here in the UK.
But no matter what port you board your ship, the cruise line expects passengers to abide by its luggage rules and prohibits passengers from bringing all of the following items onboard.
