Ange Postecoglou has been officially appointed as Nottingham Forest’s new head coach. And club owner Evangelos Marinakis has broken his silence and issued a statement of intent.
It was confirmed last night that Nuno Espirito Santo has been relieved of his duties at the City Ground, following a summer of public criticism and the deterioration of his relationship with Marinakis. Postecoglou quickly emerged as a candidate to replace Nuno, and less than 24 hours after the Portuguese manager’s exit, former Tottenham and Celtic boss Postecoglou was installed as the club’s head coach. Marinakis’s silence was broken in a statement that outlined a wish for silverware.
