Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are set for a new neighbour in Portugal, according to local media. The couple, who are parents to four-year-old August and two-year-old Ernest, split their time between the UK and Portugal due to Jack’s work commitments.
The family’s Portuguese property is located on a secluded and exclusive resort nestled in Comporta on the Alentejo coast, where property prices reportedly start at a staggering £3.6million. It has been reported that Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman has applied for residency in Portugal – and is understood to be eyeing a villa in the same resort that Eugenie and her family reside.
Portuguese outlet SIC Notícias revealed this week that the 58-year-old has submitted paperwork to the country’s Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum.
Nicole’s husband, fellow Australian Keith Urban, was reportedly not mentioned on the filed reports. Althoough the reason for this is not currently known, the couple already have a home in Lisbon.
The couple, who wed in 2006, share two teenage daughters and are known to split their time between the US and Australia.
Despite nothing having been confirmed, it was previously reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were considering a move to Portugal.
So far, the couple have continued to reside in Montecito, California, with their children – Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four.
Known to be one of Europe’s most exclusive retreats, CostaTerra has been developed by Discovery Land Company.
The company’s promotional feature read: “This stretch of European coast is indeed pristine – and it will remain precisely this way.
“The architectural aesthetic reflects a modern interpretation of the regional style, with farmhouse influences and porches and rooftop terraces that encourage outdoor living.”
