Elton John has a career spanning more than 50 years, and within this time he has amassed a huge fortune.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, the singer has a net worth of $650million (£512million), which has enabled the singer to buy property across the globe.

Despite having homes across the world, Windsor has been Elton’s long-term residence.

His home is situated in Old Windsor, on the cusp of Windsor Great Park, and is said to house more than 30 acres of land.

Whilst pictures of the inside are kept very private, birds-eye views show a huge property with tennis courts and large lavish gardens.

Elton often refers to his Woodside residence as “the hub”, which he was believed to have purchased for £400,000.

He also describes the mansion, which has a long tree-lined driveway, as “tastefully over the top”.

Old Windsor is located less than two miles away from central Windsor and is very close to Windsor Farm Shop and the Windsor Great Park.

Although Windsor itself is popular amongst tourists, Old Windsor has less to do there, and therefore is quieter.

It does however have some incredible pubs and restaurants as well as gorgeous scenery.

Average house prices in the area currently stand at £627,518, according to Rightmove.

The majority of properties sold in Old Windsor during the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £577,542.

Detached properties sold for an average of £930,750, with terraced homes fetching £451,000.

Overall, the historical sold prices in Old Windsor over the last year were six percent down on the previous year and four percent up on the 2021 peak of £603,767.

Elton shares his home with his husband David Furnish and their children Elijah and Zachary.

They also used to share it with Elton’s grandmother who lived in the 18th-century orangery.

It came complete with a library, a gilded salon, a chapel, and his grandmother’s apartment.
