Thousands of users are reporting issues with Elon Musk’s X, formerly Twitter, after his speech at the White House with Donald Trump. Over 7,000 people have reported outages with the social media app in the last hour, according to Downdetector. A 8.30pm this evening, there were only 5 issues, as per the website, but by 9.19, there was 7,208.
The below chart shows the problem reports submitted in the past 24 hours compared to the typical volume of reports by time of day. Downdetector only reports an incident when the number of problem reports is significantly higher than the typical volume for that time of day, its website says.
