Meghan Markle has included the UK in her latest As Ever release, with one of the two newly-released products selling out within seven minutes. The 44-year-old, who launched her brand last year, has unveiled the sale of a leather bookmark and a bundle containing the bookmark, honey and peppermint tea.
With the release going live at 5pm in the UK, which was 9am in California, eagle-eyed fans have spotted that the bookmark was “handmade in the UK”, a move that people have hailed as “brilliant”. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, @sageknowsall wrote’ “OMG Meghan is selling a leather bookmark. Made in the UK. Lmaoooo. Omg those people are going to lose their minds”.
It has been described as being made with “supple black leather” with “gold lettering written in Meghan’s handwriting”.
The description for the bookmark reveals that it was made “in collaboration with Sbri, a small UK-based female-owned workshop specialising in handcrafted, made-to-order keepsakes”.
Sharing to social media, another fan commented: “WOW!!!!!! MEGHAN SOLD OUT IN 7MINDS A LEATHER BOOKMARK MADE IN COLLABORATION WITH UK FEMALE OWNED WORKSHOP. She really is that girl. And do intentional.”
Writing after the product sold out within seven minutes of going on sale, a second said: “Her bookmarks have sold out. Just like that eh princess? [crown emoji]”
The sale of a £13.40 [$18] leather bookmark and a £47.65 [$64] set, which contains the bookmark, honey and peppermint tea, comes just hours after the 44-year-old shared that a new product would be available to purchase within hours.
This marks the first As Ever product release of the new year, with the brand set to celebrate its first anniversary in April.
Monday’s product announcement came just days after Meghan faced a massive blunder at the start of January on her As Ever brand’s website.
The blunder appeared to be that the website was showing stock numbers for each product could be seen by customers.
