Looking effortlessly stylish, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh caught the attention of royal fans as she attended the Wellbeing of Women’s 60th anniversary event on November 18.
Sophie, 59, put her best fashion foot forward in a floral patterned dress, cinched at the waist with a belt, but it was the Duchess’s hairstyle that grabbed the attention of eagle-eyed royal fans.
Commenting on her gorgeous appearance, a fan claimed longer length blonde locks suit the Duchess. Taking to social media platform X, one fan wrote: “I am loving HRH’s hair longer, she looks absolutely stunning.”
The fan also added: “I swear she ages backwards.”
Sophie wore a v-neck, floral, mauve and black silk crepe dress by designer Max Mara with flared sleeves, for the occasion.
Adding sparkle to her ensemble, the mother-of-two opted for a pair of statement gold earrings and a dainty bracelet.
For the occasion, Sophie’s hair was styled into loose waves and she wore just a hint of makeup to accentuate her features.
Commenting on Sophie’s hair, another fan added: “You’re right, Sophie looks even better today!”
Focusing on her clothing choices, one said: “I don’t know if she has someone who chooses her clothing for her, but for the last year she has looked amazing. Her outfits have been spot on.”
Another said: “The Duchess of Edinburgh is a radiant beauty, with a character to match.”
As the charity’s patron, Sophie thanked its volunteers for their tireless work to support the Wellbeing of Women over the years. The duchess’ visit coincided with the launch of the Wellbeing of Women’s research impact report, which highlighted the charity’s contribution to improving women’s health.
For Sophie’s evening visit to the Feel Good Inside and Out Project at Cranford College in Hounslow on November 18, Sophie switched up her style to wear an equally stylish leather and floral blouse ensemble.
The Duchess often wears a jumper or shirt under the sleeveless dress and the latest appearance was no exception, with Sophie recycling the midi dress from designer Loewe. Sophie paired the statement dress with a floral patterned shirt from her favourite brand, Me + Em. Again, Sophie already had this hanging up in her wardrobe. Last month she wore the blouse to a meeting with the DRC’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and retails for £175.
Leaping to X, formerly known as Twitter, one user said: “I love her outfit stylish yet stunning.” A second said: “I just love that dress, so stunning and chic. Love her style.”
Sophie also chose to keep her blonde hair loose yet again and wore gold hoop earrings with a snakeskin-style clutch bag.
