Socialists are vowing to hurt moderate Democrats who aren’t pushing to abolish ICE.
“You hear so many people, especially ‘normie’ people be like, ‘Oh, we just have to make it to the midterms and then things are going to get better. No, no, no, no, no!’” NYC DSA leader Hanna Johnson told more than 50 members at a Thursday night meeting of the party’s Immigration Justice Working Group.
“You don’t just get to earn our votes,” declared Johnson, the group co-chair and deputy chief of staff to Brooklyn Assemblywoman Emily Gallagher.

“The Democratic Party, the mainstream normie establishment Dems, we’re not just going to give you back power to do the same absolute nothing that you’ve been doing. If you want us to vote for you, not being Trump is not enough.”
The group says the midterms will be a referendum on immigration.
It has given its effort to undermine federal authority an Orwellian name — “decriminalizing immigration.”
The NYC DSA’s Immigrant Justice Working Group has ramped up its activities, mustering an army of more than 4,000 anti-ICE activists to form “rapid response” battalions to not simply protest but obstruct federal agents in an expected imminent crackdown on the Big Apple — even teaching nurses how to work against ICE.
“It’s violent fascism,” screeched Johnson. “ICE is a violent and dangerous agency. . . . we need to call for ICE to be abolished.”

Border czar Tom Homan, who’s been dispatched to Minnesota, vowed Thursday far-left groups funding and coordinating attacks on ICE will face consequences.
“I’m not going to show our hand, but they’ll be held accountable. Justice is coming,” he said.
