Flights have been delayed at one of Britain’s major airports after a drone was spotted near an “exclusion zone”. Police Scotland are investigating the incident at Edinburgh Airport, which comes hot on the heels of numerous airport shutdowns in Europe, some of which have been blamed on Russian attempts at troublemaking.
An Edinburgh Airport spokesman told the Herald: “Flights were held due to the presence of a drone within the exclusion zone, which police investigated.”
