Disturbing moment school student ambushes teacher before choking and trying to rape her

Shocking footage reveals the moment before a teenager attacked his teacher before attempting to rape her in a classroom.

The video shows 17-year-old Jonathan Martinez-Garcia, who was sentenced earlier this year for the horrifying assault at El Dorado High School, Las Vegas, lurking through the school corridors before the attack.

The predator, then aged 16, had planned to speak with his teacher, known only as Sade, under the guise of discussing his grades.

After failing to access a classroom, he is seen returning after Sade seemingly calls him back.

The next chilling scene shows the teacher struggling with her attacker in the doorway before being pulled back into the room.

The footage then jumps to around 3:05pm, showing the student casually leaving the school with his head down. Martinez-Garcia was later sentenced to between 16 and 40 years in prison for the brutal attack.

The victim bravely spoke in court about the terrifying attack that took place off-camera. She said: “I have been in prison by him twice now.

“The first time was during the actual attack. He held me hostage in my own classroom. I lost consciousness at his hands numerous times.

“He would beat me until my body just couldn’t take it again and again. I just thought there was no way I was making it out of that classroom alive. The second imprisonment has been every day since. My body and mind feel as though they’re no longer my own.”

It was revealed that once she had regained consciousness during the ordeal the teen then threatened to burn her alive. At one point Martinez-Garcia is said to have told her: “Can’t you die already?”

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that prosecutors asked the judge to sentence the 17-year-old to 22 to 55 years behind bars, but Clark County District Court Judge Kathleen Delaney said she was balancing the seriousness of the crime with other factors.

The defendant also pleaded guilty to attempted sexual assault and battery with the use of a deadly weapon resulting in substantial bodily harm in plea deal that avoided trial in the after-school attack at Eldorado High School.
