A “possible OD” at a University of Mississippi dormitory was reported in dispatch audio before two students were found dead in separate incidents.
“They do not believe the subject is breathing — trying to start CPR over the phone,” the dispatcher can be heard saying in audio obtained by Fox News.
Firefighters rushed to the Stewart Hall dormitory within a minute of receiving the call, the outlet reported.
Two University of Mississippi students were found dead Monday in separate incidents with packaged kratom discovered at both scenes, authorities said.
The probe into the mysterious deaths is being led by the Lafayette County Metro Narcotics team, which said Tuesday that the cases are not believed to be connected.
