Disney brings original Star Wars characters to Galaxy’s Edge

Disney is about to serve up a blast from the past for fans visiting Disneyland in California.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will being to reintroduce legendary characters and fan-favorite moments from the original Star Wars trilogy into its theme park.


Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia Organa, and Harrison Ford as Han Solo from Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi.

As for the characters set to make an appearance: Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia Organa are all on the ticket. The park will also bring back John Williams’ iconic scores from the film franchise, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Galaxy’s Edge will now host more of the Star Wars saga, from the Galactic Civil War and New Republic to the Resistance and First Order, uniting fan-favorite characters from every era of the popular franchise.

The changes are expected to take effect on April 29, 2026, at Disneyland Park.
