A theory has been put forward as to what caused the Diogo Jota car crash after the Liverpool star died at 28 in the tragic incident.
The accident took place at around 0:40 hours when the Lamborghini in which he was travelling left the road and caught fire in a Spanish province.
Sources consulted by Efe suggest that the car may have suffered a burst tyre while overtaking, which is why it left the road and caught fire. We’ll be bringing you the very latest updates, pictures and video on this breaking news story.
