Diablo 4 developer Blizzard is getting ready to unleash a new season of content on PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
Titled Belial’s Return, Diablo 4 Season 8 has an April 29 release date and a 6pm BST UK start time. As you can see from the image below, that’s a 10am PDT start time for fans living in the US.
The new Diablo 4 season will add new enemies, bosses and quality of life upgrades, as well as new Battle Pass rewards for players to earn along the way.
The Battle Pass will feature a new Reliquary System, where players are better able to choose the items to unlock.
“Crafted for every kind of player, the new Reliquary system lets you unlock the items that resonate with your journey – or collect them all,” Blizzard explains.
For example, a selection of free rewards are available with the Belial’s Return Reliquary, which includes 200 Platinum, a horse mount, mount armour, three weapons, and a Town Portal.
The Premium Battle Pass is split into multiple sections, such as Weapons, Beasts and Armour. This includes weapon cosmetics, new pets and full armour sets.
Even more items are available via the Deluxe Battle Pass, such as instant access to the “Guise of the Deceiver” Bonus Armour Set for each class, as well as a pet own named Orinocta and a set of Deceiver Wings that are said to match the bonus armour set.

Outside of the Battle Pass, Season 8 will introduce a ton of new features and quality of life improvements.
This includes a host of new challenges as part of Apparition Incursions world events involving Belial, Lord of Lies. Players will earn Unveiler’s Oath reputation by defeating Apparitions and bosses as part of the season.
Speaking of bosses, players will also be able to enhance their builds by defeating monsters and unlocking their Boss Powers. According to Blizzard, players can gain the powers of 24 different bosses, and mix abilities for 48 different combinations.
Elsewhere, Urivar and Harbinger of Hatred join the roster of repeatable Lair Bosses with Expansion ownership.
Players who manage to complete the Season Journey will unlock a new pet named Iris, which is said to assist characters with gold and material pickup.
