Devastating true extent of Russia's Black Sea Fleet damage exposed in satellite images

The Ministry of Defence released comparative images showcasing the aftermath of the strikes, illustrating significant structural damage to key facilities.

The communications center of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet was severely damaged, with one building experiencing partial roof collapse and blast damage evident on others.

The targeted landing ships, tanks, and intelligence vessel, Yury Ivanov-class, also bore the brunt of the assault, further weakening Russia’s naval capabilities in the region.

Defence officials said the success of such strikes prompted Russia to relocate higher naval assets from Sevastopol to alternative ports further east.

The continuous pressure exerted by Ukraine has forced Moscow to redirect much of its Black Sea Fleet towards Novorossiysk in Russia’s Krasnodar region, impeding its ability to operate effectively in the western part of the sea.
