Call it circumstance, call it dire traits, call it whatever you want.
According to sources with knowledge of the situation, the 49ers and Samuel hace agreed to a one-year contract worth $7 million. Injuries to current San Francisco wide receivers Ricky Pearsall and Christian Kirk prompted the club to turn back the clock to bring back Samuel, who played six years with the 49ers from 2019 to 2024 before leaving for the Commanders last season.
In his time with the 49ers, Sanmuel caught 334 passes for 4,792 yards and 22 touchdoowns.
Given the 49ers injury issues, Samuel is expected to fill a big role.
But the reunion between 49ers and Deebo Samuel is happening.
