Dave Portnoy is set for a massive payout if his Patriots come out on top on Sunday.
The Barstool Sports founder is staring at a potential $1.8 million win if New England takes down the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 2026.
Portnoy, who has never been shy to put down big bucks on the Big Game, wagered $50,000 on the Patriots to take home the Lombardi Trophy at +3500 at some point earlier this season.
On Jan. 18, after the Pats beat the Texans to head to the AFC Championship game, Portnoy shared a screenshot of his massive wager on social media.
“Show me your Patriots SuperBowl tickets!” he wrote on X. “When did you jump in?”
New England is currently a 4.5-point underdog to Seattle, and +195 on the moneyline at DraftKings Sportsbook.
Unlike Portnoy, the betting public appears to be loving the Seahawks.
As of Tuesday, 66.1 percent of bets and 73.3 percent of the handle are on the Seahawks to cover at theScore Bet.

Seattle has garnered nearly as much love on the moneyline, attracting 59.9 percent of bets and 67.9 percent of the handle to win the game.
Last January, Portnoy vowed that he was done with football after he lost $1 million betting on the Bills to beat the Chiefs during their losing effort in the AFC Championship game.
“This is the most disgusting thing,” Portnoy said in a video at the time. “I’m not watching football ever again. I quit football. I quit.”
Betting on the NFL?
Before the 2024 Super Bowl, Portnoy laid down $500,000 on the Chiefs moneyline, at least doubling his wager with the underdog Kansas City taking down the San Francisco 49ers.
“It’s really simple. Always bet on Mahomes,” Portnoy said in a post on X after that game.
