Darts star Ricky Evans shares the heartbreaking news that his “beautiful little sister” Elisha has died, with tributes pouring in. On social media, he posted several pictures of them together with the touching caption: “My beautiful little sister Elisha… I love you so much. I’ll always be your best friend.”
Evans, considered one of the most popular players on the professional circuit competed in the UK Open on Friday, defeating Gabriel Clemens before going out to Dave Chisnall. His management company issued a statement confirming the news, writing: “We send our deepest condolences to Ricky Evans and his family and friends, after the devastating news of the sudden passing of his sister Elisha. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Ricky.”
Evans’ darting colleague Ross Smith was one of many to pay their respects, as he replied on social media: “Very sorry to hear this awful news. Sending love to Ricky and his family.”
