With the clock ticking down until the festive season, many of us will be prepping our spare bedrooms for visiting friends and family. For those in need of a revamp, new bedding can be ideal for creating a warm and welcoming environment for guests, and we’ve spotted a huge discount on a ‘comfortable’ set.
The Lyndon Company’s Gingham Duvet Cover Set has been reduced from £80 to £38.99 at Yimbly – an online marketplace owned by this publication’s parent company, Reach PLC. To secure the discount, shoppers simply need to enter the code AUTUMN10 during checkout.
Crafted from 100% cotton, the duvet cover set is engineered to be soft and breathable, providing year-round comfort. Its timeless green gingham design is enhanced by double-piped edges and mock horn button fastenings, lending the bedding a polished, tailored appearance with a gentle rustic element.
The double-sized duvet cover measures 200cm by 200cm and includes matching pillowcases, making it a convenient choice for updating a guest bedroom before Christmas. The material is designed to be hard-wearing and simple to maintain, while its classic design ensures it can be utilised long after the festive decorations have been stored away.
It’s available in four sizes: single (£29.99), king (£43.49), double and super king (£47.99). It also comes in a choice of four colours: blue, rose, grey and green, reports the Liverpool Echo.
The Lyndon Company’s Gingham Duvet Cover Set has received glowing praise at Yimbly, with one customer writing in their review: “Stunning bedding with a high-quality fabric and a great price.”
Another said: “I am so very pleased with my purchase, the material is of good quality and the piping edge gives a beautiful finish.”
Not all shoppers were entirely convinced, however, with one Debenhams customer writing in their review: “Seems good quality. A bit darker in colour than expected, but looks nice on the bed does need some ironing and has creases a lot when washed.”
Another added: “Happy with the quality of the gingham duvet set, but it does need ironing after laundry.”
That said, one shopper was pleased with their purchase, and said: “Good quality and a great price. Speedy delivery. Overall, a great experience.”
