Coachella kicks off in under two weeks, bringing a star-studded lineup and a lavish food spread — from pizza slices to Michelin-star pop-ups like Nobu.
The back-to-back festival weekends kick off April 10, with a food lineup is stacked with LA favorites.
The festival will feature more than 100 restaurants, bars, and pop-ups across the grounds. Here are some standout offerings that are just the tip of the iceberg:
The golden standard: Nobu at the Mirage
For those looking to trade the mosh pit for a moment of zen, the biggest buzz this year surrounds Nobu at the Red Bull Mirage. This isn’t your average festival snack; it’s a high-end, reservation-only Omakase experience. Situated with a direct view of the Quasar Stage, guests can indulge in signature yellowtail jalapeño and premium nigiri while world-class DJs provide the soundtrack. The dining experience will cost $375 a head.
Dining under the stars: Outstanding in the Field
No Coachella luxury guide is complete without mentioning Outstanding in the Field. Located in the lush VIP Rose Garden, this long-table dinner remains the festival’s most sophisticated tradition. This year, the chef lineup reads like a “Who’s Who” of the California culinary scene.
Weekend one features the likes of Michael Beckman (Workshop Kitchen & Bar) and Charles Namba (Camélia), while weekend two brings the heat with Alan Sanz (Mírate) and Nico de Leon (Lasita). These four-course, family-style meals are paired with professional wine selections, offering a communal sanctuary far removed from the high-energy chaos of the Main Stage.
The VIP gourmet tier
If you aren’t looking for a full sit-down commitment but still want a “Michelin” moment, the 12 Peaks VIP area is your culinary playground.
The standout this year is Le Burger by Camphor. The team behind the Michelin-starred Los Angeles bistro is bringing their legendary “Le Burger,” but the true “flex” on the menu is their festival-exclusive: Chicken Nuggets served with a side of premium Caviar. It’s the ultimate “High-Low” dish that perfectly encapsulates the Coachella spirit.
Joining them in the VIP ranks are the Truffle Boys, who are reportedly shaving fresh truffles over everything from mac & cheese to gold-dusted fries, and Bang Bang Noodles, serving up hand-pulled Biang Biang noodles that have become a cult favorite in the LA street food scene.
LA’s Finest: From tacos to truffles
While the luxury options are dazzling, Coachella stays true to its roots by bringing the best of Los Angeles street food to the desert. Villa’s Tacos, fresh off their “Best Tacos in LA” accolades, will be serving their famous blue corn tortillas with cheese-crusted meats. For those needing a heavy-hitting recovery meal, Fat Sal’s is back with their notorious over-the-top sandwiches that are practically a rite of passage for festival-goers.
For a quick but elevated bite, the Indio Central Market remains the heart of the GA experience, featuring over 15 vendors under one shaded roof. Here, you’ll find Prince St. Pizza for that iconic spicy pepperoni square and Tacos 1986 for authentic Tijuana-style street tacos.
Sophisticated Sips
The “Ultra-Luxe” experience extends to the beverage program as well. Beyond the standard beer gardens, 2026 sees the return of “secret” bars. Golden Hour, a hidden cocktail oasis with a mid-century desert aesthetic, offers a respite for those lucky enough to find its entrance. For wine enthusiasts, the Clink Wine Bar in the Rose Garden focuses on biodynamic and natural wines, catering to a more conscious, sophisticated palate.
Back to basics
Coachella’s heart remains its reliable comfort food. “Fried & Familiar” options shine this year, from Dave’s Hot Chicken and Post Malone’s Raising Cane’s mobile truck to Spicy Pie’s classic pepperoni and jalapeño slice. Softies Burgerkeeps it simple with handheld smashburgers — perfect fuel while hopping between stages.
Sweet treats & desert desserts
When the Indio heat rises, festival-goers can cool off with a sweet lineup. Highlights include Churrería El Moro’s Mexican churros, Afters Ice Cream’s iconic Milky Buns, McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams for a high-end scoop, and Backyard Bowls’ refreshing fruit-packed acai bowls — the perfect desert reset.
