President Donald Trump has been dealt another blow as his public approval ratings continue to decline, according to a new CNN poll. The study was conducted for CNN via web and telephone on the SSRS Opinion Panel. The results show that Trump’s approval rating in the poll stands at 37%, which is the worst of his second term in CNN polling and roughly equivalent to his 36% approval rating at this point in his first term. In terms of disapproval ratings, this is at 63%, which is numerically the highest of either term, one point above the previous high of 62% when he left office in January 2021.
One person reacted on X: “Only 37% approve? The rest of America finally realized chaos is not leadership. Some people still cling to fantasy but most are done playing along.”
A second also chimed in: “I keep seeing posts that say ‘all time low’, or ‘new low’and every time, it’s 37%! It’s likely to not go any lower, because with every screw-up, his base just loves him more.”
