Grandmothers often have a knack for making a Christmas even more special, with Carol Middleton being no exception.
Being a grandmother to some of the most famous children in the world certainly has its pressures but Carol’s sweet festive tradition on Christmas Eve has always proved a hit among Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The Princess of Wales’s mother previously shared the touching way she ensures Christmas Eve is always a hit among the family.
Carole is also the grandmother for her daughter Pippa’s children, Arthur, Grace and Rose, including her son James’s young one, Inigo.
Fortunately, Carole is no stranger to all things pertaining to children’s entertainment with her Christmas Eve treat being a constant winner.
Carole Middleton will join her daughter, Princess Kate and Prince William and their three children for a special Christmas occasion.
The former Party Pieces owner admitted her adorable Christmas Eve tradition to her grandchildren in one of the business’s previous newsletters where they all receive a box from her that kitted out with little gifts inside.
Carole admitted how this has become a tradition over the years with her grandchildren with Christmas Eve being earmarked for the boxes which bring plenty of joy to them all.
“As well as leaving something out for Santa, a Christmas Eve Box is a lovely tradition to introduce to your family and will become a beloved part of your Christmas for years to come,” she previously wrote.
These Christmas Eve boxes seem to have become a treasured tradition for the Wales family over the years, with this Christmas Eve looking likely the whole family will be together to receive them.
Catherine, William, George, Charlotte and Louis seem to be spending the Christmas period with Carole this year.
It’s been said she is a big fan of Christmas, particularly when it comes to all the decorations involved during the festive time.
Carole previously admitted that even when the decorations are all completed, she likes to make sure there is always still room for some cheeky additions, for the sake of her grandkids.
In a post shared on the Party Pieces account, Carole said: “As much as I love immaculate decorations, we can’t be too serious at Christmas!”
And as for how the doting grandmother will spend this special time with her grandkids, Carole admitted how she is very much a hands on grandparent.
Carole previously admitted to Good Housekeeping how involved she gets with her grandchildren, saying: “I want to run down the hills, climb the trees, and go through the tunnel at the playground.
“As long as I am able to, that’s what I’ll be doing. I cook with them, I muck around dancing, we go on bike rides.”
