Chris Eubank Jt has been fined £100,000 for hitting Conor Benn with an egg during their media conference last month. As the pair prepared to face-off for the cameras, Eubank took an egg from his pocket and hit his bitter rival across the face with his left hand.
His behavious sparked chaotic scenes. Benn, accompanied by father Nigel, reacted by trying to lash out and both boxers were pulled away by security guards. The British Boxing Board of Control have now released a statement saying Eubank, 35, had breached regulation 25 in relation to misconduct.
