A woman whose chopped-up remains were found stuffed in a black plastic bag in a Brooklyn basement over the weekend was a married mom of four last seen enjoying a night out, according to kin and cops.

The dismembered body of Michelle Montgomery, 30, was discovered by NYCHA workers at the Borinquen Public Houses around 9:40 a.m. Sunday, authorities and sources said.

Montgomery lived at another NYCHA complex with her kids – the youngest a 10-month-old son — fewer than 4 miles from the scene, her family told the Daily News.

The victim also had two daughters, ages 11 and 12, as well as a 19-year-old son, according to the report

“Everybody is in shock,” said her husband, Anthony Echevarria, 37, to the outlet. “Things are running through my head like a broken record. We’ve been holding each other ever since [we found out].

“She said she was just going out with friends,” he said, noting that she spent the evening at the Mexican restaurant Mama Taco on Flushing Avenue. “I didn’t know them.”

No arrests had been made by Tuesday morning, and the circumstances of Montgomery’s death will be officially determined by the city medical examiner’s office, cops said.

Police also did not immediately know whether Montgomery had any connection to the building where her remains were found.

On Sunday, maintenance people were seen coming in and out of the compact room at the front of the building, according to two sisters who live there and wished to remain anonymous.

“There’s a silver door right here in the front, and that’s where the maintenance people go into,”  a sister told The Post at the time. “That’s where they found the body.”
