There are 12 Chinese zodiac signs, ranging from the Horse to the Pig, and their worlds are about to change once the official Chinese New Year on February 10 begins.

Revealing what the year ahead will look like for each Chinese zodiac sign, Chinese astrology expert Janine Lowe begins with Rats and how this year will turn out for them.

Rats (1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008, 2020)

“In the enchanting year of the Wood Dragon, the Rat is in for a remarkable journey filled with positive energy and a dash of good fortune.

“This year, the cosmic forces are aligned in favour for the Rat, offering a fertile ground for growth and success.”

Lowe advised Rats to seek out wealth opportunities in the months of May, August and December when a promotion could be on the horizon.

Oxs (1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, 2021)

Expect challenges in the year of the Wood Dragon, said Lowe, which will require resilience and a supportive network to overcome.

Lowe advised: “Lean on your trusted allies and view this year as a valuable learning experience.”

Seeds are being planted for future opportunities in 2025, so Lowe suggested to “embrace the journey” this year and to make it an “interesting chapter”.

Tigers (1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010, 2022)

Lowe said: “By the end of 2024, Tigers may be pleasantly surprised by the multitude of achievements and experiences they’ve accumulated.

“This year serves as a stepping stone for furthering your ideas, honing your skills, and nurturing your interest to prepare for the Year of the Wood Snake in 2025.”

Her words of wisdom for Tigers in 2024 are to “stay vigilant and stay focused” throughout the next 12 calendar months.

Rabbits (1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011, 2023)

Lowe said 2024 is for Rabbits to develop new skills, adapt to change, and keep an eye out for trends in the business world.

“Remember, amid all the ambitions and decisions – don’t forget to have fun and relish the moments that bring joy to your heart,” said Lowe.

Dragons (1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012, 2024)

“With your boldness, creativity, and enterprising spirit, you are destined for greatness,” Lowe said of Dragons. “Embrace the journey and let the cosmic energies guide you towards a year filled with success and renewal.”

Lowe suggested making time to “chill out” during April and October, which will do you good.

Snakes (1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013, 2025_

“It’s a time to embrace love, work hard for your dreams, and be the guiding light for your loved ones,” said Lowe. “So, my serpentine friend, prepare for a year of extraordinary experiences, and revel in the joy of spending precious moments with family and friends.”
