Cheese lovers from across the world are getting set for the annual roll competition to be held in Gloucestershire today.
Competitors chase a 7lb (3kg) wheel of Double Gloucester cheese down one of the UK’s steepest hill in a centuries-old tradition.
As the cheese reachers speeds of up to 70mph, competitors usually fall down the hill to the finish line.
Authorities have warned about the event’s safety, which has led to some competitors requiring emergency treatment in the past as they took on the cheese roll down Cooper’s Hill in Brockworth.
