No, it’s not just you. ChatGPT, the online artifical intelligence (AI) chatbot platform appears to be offline.
The popular AI tool from tech firm OpenAI is used daily by million of people globally to answer queries, compose and rewrite emails, generate images and perform other automated tasks for personal or business use.
The website Down Detector reported a huge spike in more than 6,000 reports of problems with ChatGPT just before midday UK time on Thursday January 23.
“The web server reported a bad gateway error”, a message on the service’s website read.
Fans of the free to use AI flocked to social media to ask if others were having the same problems.
“chatgpt down in the middle of the workday i’m about to get fired pray for me”, @raghhavvvv posted on X.
