A Brazilian soccer star accused pop singer Chappell Roan of bringing his 11-year-old daughter to “tears” after the diva’s security ridiculed and berated the child at a Sao Paul hotel Saturday.
Jorginho slammed the “Pink Pony Club” crooner in a lengthy Instagram post, claiming she sent her security guard after his daughter for supposedly harassing and disrespecting her while they dined at the same hotel — a jarring confrontation that left the youngster “extremely shaken.”
“I went through a very upsetting situation with my family earlier today,” the defensive midfielder said.
“This morning, my daughter woke up incredibly excited, she even made a sign because she was so happy to see an artist she really admires, or used to admire. During breakfast, the artist walked past their table.
My daughter, like any child, recognized her, got excited, and just wanted to make sure it was really her.
“And the worst part is she didn’t even approach her. She simply walked past the singer’s table, looked to confirm it was her, smiled, and went back to sit with her mum. She didn’t say anything, didn’t ask for anything.”
After that he said a “large security guard” reportedly rushed over, yelled at his daughter and wife, and warned they’d be reported to hotel management.
“He said he would file a complaint against them with the hotel, while my 11-year-old daughter was sitting there in tears,” the soccer star wrote
“My daughter was extremely shaken and cried a lot.”
People reported that the unidentified child appeared to be 11-year-old Ada Law, whom Jorginho’s wife, Catherine Harding, had with her movie star ex husband, actor Jude Law.
The Post couldn’t immediately reach Roan for comment — and People reported she didn’t respond to requests for comment.
